About

My name is Chris Allen, I have been an entrepreneur for over 20 years. I love the excitement of envisioning a cool new idea, and putting it together, I love to think about how to impact the world, or fix a simple problem, then go out and take the required steps to implement the idea.
On a personal note, I am happily married, my wife, RaNae and I have 7 children from 2 to 16 years old. I have spent the last 13 years involved with coaching CEOs on how to improve their business, and raise capital and streamline their strategy…
Currently I am in the wild transition from consulting and capital raising to organic farming. I have spent the past two decades dreaming of living on a beautiful small farm, raising cows, goats, chickens, ducks, horses, and having a small orchard, rasised-bed gardens in a greenhouse, and being more self-sufficient, and just recently made the jump, as I moved my family of nine from Draper, Utah to Cabool, Missouri.
We are currently looking for a small farm (20-200 acres) about 60 minutes from Springfield, Missouri. To say that this is a lifestyle shift is a huge understatement. I haven’t been this excited and inspired about the possibilities and opportunities in years, yet the tasks before us are huge and scary… stay tuned, as my family and I take this exciting journey, and share it with you!

What a gift! You write so beautifully and the many pratical, financial suggestions are the very thing missing from so many other sites. I know of a charming farm (160) acres not far from Seymour that may still be for sale. Let me know if interested and I can show you where it is.

what a wonderful jump you’re doing……….Utah to Missouri!! Wow. But I did Las Vegas to rural Montana and tho’ this is a “3rd world state” in some respects, they’re growing up, a good thing, but a sad thing at the same time. I live on the Yellowstone River, I’m active in keeping the buffalo wild and wolves protected as best I can. I have read most of your things but will go back in depth. I will hope to hear from you more on the gratitude blog!! (where I found you) I will certainly keep this website on my priority list! Good Luck in your new endeavor.
